June 18: Whole Milk Rally

The Pennsylvania dairy leaders, organizations and farmers are committed to supporting U.S. Congressman ‘GT’ Thompson’s legislation, H.R. 832, Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2019. In addition, dairy leaders are also advocating for H.R. 1769, DAIRY PRIDE Act to end improper labeling of alternative beverages as milk. While federal issues, it is important for those vested in Pennsylvania’s dairy industry help promote these bills and advocate for our Pennsylvania delegation’s support.

During a rally on June 18, the goal is to get as many dairy farmers, 4-Hers, FFA members and Pennsylvania families present as possible to join with Congressmen ‘G.T.’ Thompson and John Joyce to show our legislators and the public how important real dairy is to our students, families, schools and the dairy community. During the event, those attending will participate by standing on the steps in the Pennsylvania Capitol Rotunda.
