Sharing the dairy story with members in your community — your neighbors, community leaders, policy makers and young people or students — is essential. Less than 1.5 percent of the U.S. population are directly involved in farming or production agriculture. Most people know very little about your dairy farm or what dairy farmers do. The Center offers resources to help dairy producers and other stakeholders educate policy leaders, young people and others in the community about the benefits that dairy offers to the local community.
